Our flaxseed lipid extract contains over 60% plant-derived Omega-3 fatty acid and alpha-linolenic acid, followed by linoleic acid (Omega-6) and oleic acid (Omega-9). The extract contains less than 10% saturated fatty acids (stearic and palmitic acids). Additionally, the flaxseed lipid extract contains approximately 5% tocopherol.
Microalgae (Nannochloropsis spp., Phaeodactylum tricornutum) are at the centre of our research focus. In the ongoing project, síbiotech prioritises microalgae species based on higher Omega-3 concentration, with a specific emphasis on eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
EPA, a polyunsaturated Omega-3 fatty acid, possesses various health-promoting properties, including reducing inflammation and lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
Microalgae also contain valuable bioactive compounds, including the carotenoid fucoxanthin, which is currently a subject of global research interest.

The sea buckthorn berry pulp lipid extract is rich in Omega-7 fatty acids (up to 40 grams per 100 grams of extract) and contains approximately 200 mg of carotenoids per 100 grams (mostly beta-carotene), followed by lutein, zeaxanthin, and lycopene.
The amaranth seed lipid extract contains squalene (70mg/g), Omega-6 fatty acids (37 grams per 100 grams of the product) and Omega-9 fatty acids (27 grams per 100 grams of the product).
Valerian root extract contains valerenic acid and other terpenes known for their calming effects.
