HIPPOCOR®
HIPPOCOR® soft capsules contain high-quality sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) seed oil, naturally rich in plant-based Omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid), Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids, beta-sitosterol, and vitamin E. These bioactive compounds help support cardiovascular health and contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system. The product is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
The sea buckthorn seed oil is produced using advanced supercritical CO₂ extraction technology, preserving its naturally occurring bioactive compounds while ensuring the product is free from organic solvents, artificial colourings, pesticides, and GMOs.
Each capsule contains sea buckthorn seed oil obtained from approximately 50 g of fresh sea buckthorn berries.
The capsule shell is made from pea-derived starch, making the product completely free from ingredients of animal or fish origin.
Clinical study confirms the benefits
The efficacy and safety of the HIPPOCOR® sea buckthorn seed lipid extract were evaluated in a pilot clinical study conducted by the Institute of Cardiology and Regenerative Medicine of the University of Latvia in collaboration with leading Latvian cardiologists.
The study included 86 patients with chronic coronary syndrome and increased residual cardiovascular risk, who received 2,000 mg of HIPPOCOR® daily (2 × 1,000 mg) in addition to their standard therapy for 3 months.
After three months of supplementation, the following improvements were observed:
- LDL cholesterol decreased by 0.3 mmol/L;
- systolic blood pressure decreased by 2.9 mmHg;
- C-reactive protein (CRP) decreased by 1.0 mg/L.
The study authors concluded that HIPPOCOR® sea buckthorn seed lipid extract is a promising adjunctive therapy for reducing cardiovascular risk.
Adults: 2 capsules daily, preferably taken with water. Both capsules may be taken at the same time.
The product should be used for at least 30 days, with 3 months being the recommended duration for optimal results.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures below +25 °C.
