Terms of Use and Purchase of the Internet Trading Website sibiotech.com
This Distance Contract (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) is concluded between the owner/operator of the internet trading website sibiotech.com and the Buyer who places an order on the said website.

1. General Terms
1.1. The Buyer orders, purchases, and pays for, while the Seller sells and delivers biotechnology products, food supplements, or other goods published on the website sibiotech.com (hereinafter referred to as the Goods).
1.2. By placing an order on the website, the Buyer confirms that they have read this Agreement, fully understand its terms, and undertake to comply with them.
1.3. The Seller has the right to unilaterally amend and supplement the terms of the Agreement at any time. Amendments shall enter into force from the moment of their publication on the website sibiotech.com and shall apply to orders placed after the publication of the amendments.
2. Ordering of Goods and Pricing
2.1. Prices for Goods on the website are indicated in euros (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT) in accordance with the applicable regulatory enactments.
2.2. The price of the Goods does not include the delivery fee. The delivery fee (if applicable) is calculated and displayed to the Buyer during the order checkout process before the final payment confirmation.
2.3. The Buyer places an order for Goods using the online shopping cart, specifying their first name, last name, delivery address (or parcel machine station), telephone number, and e-mail address.
3. Payment Procedure
3.1. The Buyer makes payment for the ordered Goods and delivery (if applicable) using the payment methods offered on the website (for example, internet banking payments, bank cards, or payment upon receipt of an invoice). 3.2. An order is considered accepted and is transferred for execution only after the Seller has received the full order amount in their bank account.
4. Delivery of Goods
4.1. Delivery of Goods is ensured through parcel machine networks (for example, Omniva) or other logistics partners, in accordance with the method selected at the time of placing the order.
4.2. The delivery time for Goods within the territory of Latvia is usually from 2 to 5 working days from the date of receipt of payment, unless another time limit is specified in the description of the Goods or the parties have agreed otherwise.
4.3. The Seller is not responsible for delivery delays caused by the fault of third parties (delivery services/couriers) or due to force majeure circumstances.
5. Right of Withdrawal and Return of Goods
5.1. A Buyer who is a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Protection Law (a natural person who purchases goods for a purpose not related to their economic or professional activity) has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days from the moment of receipt of the Goods without providing any justification. Important Exception: In accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 255, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for goods that deteriorate rapidly or are expiry-prone, as well as for goods that are sealed in packaging and cannot be returned due to health protection or hygiene reasons if the packaging has been opened after delivery (applicable to food supplements and cosmetics).
5.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send a written application (in free form or by filling out a withdrawal form) to the e-mail address: office@sibiotech.com.
5.3. The Buyer shall bear all costs associated with the return of the Goods.
5.4. The Seller shall refund the amount received from the Buyer within 14 days from the day the Seller received the Buyer’s notice of withdrawal, provided that the Seller has received the Goods back or the Buyer has provided proof of their shipment.
6. Data Privacy
6.1. The processing of the Buyer’s personal data is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Seller’s Privacy Policy. 6.2. The data provided by the Buyer is used solely for order processing, delivery of goods, and fulfillment of accounting obligations.
7. Dispute Resolution
7.1. The parties shall endeavor to resolve all disputes arising between the Buyer and the Seller through mutual negotiations. 7.2. If an agreement cannot be reached, the Buyer (consumer) has the right to apply to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (CRPC / PTAC) or use the online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
