sí biotech Showcases Biotechnology Innovation at CPHI Japan 2025!

The síbiotech team recently concluded a successful participation in CPHI Japan 2025, held in Tokyo, marking a significant milestone in our international outreach efforts. As part of the #TradeMissionLatvia, we had the honour of representing Latvia on a global stage, introducing our innovative, science-based health products derived from microalgae cultivation.

During the event, we presented our range of Omega-3 fatty acids and powerful antioxidants—nature’s own health boosters—to industry leaders and wellness innovators from around the world. The mission provided invaluable opportunities to connect, collaborate, and explore new partnerships, enhancing our presence in the Asian biotech market

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) for organizing this trade mission, and to the Embassy of Latvia in Japan for their support.

Our product range already includes the well-known, health-promoting “Hippocor” — a product based on sea buckthorn seed oil — as well as innovative new formulations combining bioactive compounds from microalgae and sea buckthorn berries.

The exhibition also provided an excellent opportunity to introduce a new product developed in collaboration with our Estonian colleagues within the framework of the Cardio4Healthproject. This unique formulation combines Omega-3 fatty acids, plant sterols, and probiotic bacteriato support cardiovascular health and maintain gut microbiota balance. The active ingredients are obtained using supercritical CO₂ extraction, ensuring exceptional purity and bioavailability.

Participating in CPHI Japan 2025 has been an enriching experience, allowing us to gain fresh insights and forge meaningful connections. We are excited about the prospects that lie ahead and remain committed to promoting Latvia’s biotech excellence on the international stage.
